I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic Provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as the provider (Safebestie) via the website https://safebestie.com. Unless otherwise agreed, the application of any specific terms and conditions used by you is expressly rejected.
(2) A consumer within the meaning of these provisions is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their self-employed professional or commercial activity.
(3) Safebestie acts as an intermediary in the sale of products. We collaborate with external partners and suppliers for the execution of orders. Products are shipped directly from these partners; we do not maintain a physical inventory.
§ 2 Formation of the Contract
(1) The subject of the contract is the sale of goods.
(2) By placing the respective product on our website, we make you a binding offer to conclude a contract under the conditions described in the article.
(3) The contract is concluded via the online shopping cart as follows: The goods intended for purchase are placed in the "shopping cart". You can make changes at any time by calling up the shopping cart via the corresponding button in the navigation bar. After opening the "Checkout" page and entering your personal data, payment and shipping conditions, all order data will be displayed on the order overview page. If you use an instant payment system (such as PayPal) as a payment method, you will first be redirected to the website of the instant payment system provider. After that, you will be redirected back to our webshop where you can finally check the order. By submitting the order via the "buy" button, you declare the legal acceptance of the offer.
(4) The processing of the order and the sending of all necessary information takes place via email. Please ensure that you have provided a correct email address and that you can receive our emails.
§ 3 Payment Methods
(1) Payment by invoice via Klarna. In cooperation with Klarna, we offer payment by invoice. The payment term is 14 days from the invoice date. The invoice will be sent by email upon shipment of the goods or together with the goods. Payment is made to Klarna.
§ 4 Right of Retention and Retention of Title
(1) You can only exercise your right of retention insofar as it concerns claims arising from the same contractual relationship.
(2) The goods remain the property of the respective supplier until the full purchase price has been paid.

§ 6 Warranty
(1) The statutory rights of liability for defects apply.
(2) As a consumer, you are requested to check the goods immediately after delivery for completeness, obvious defects, and transport damage. Failure to do so does not affect your statutory warranty claims.
§ 7 Choice of Law
(1) Dutch law applies. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as the protection provided by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of the consumer's habitual residence is not withdrawn.
(2) The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods are expressly not applicable.
