The detector uses a special infrared lens that makes reflections from hidden camera lenses visible. When you switch on the detector and slowly scan the room, the light reflects off hidden lenses, even if they are hidden in everyday objects such as smoke detectors, lamps or mirrors. This allows you to quickly and easily see if a camera is present.

Is it easy to use, even for non-technical people?
Absolutely. All you have to do is turn on the device and calmly scan the room. The red light or the lens spotlight immediately shows you if there is anything suspicious. No technical knowledge is needed; anyone can use it within seconds.

Can I use it in the dark or at night?
Yes, the detector works even better in the dark. The infrared lens makes reflections more clearly visible in low light, allowing you to find hidden cameras even faster.

How far does the detector reach?
The effective range is up to 10 meters, depending on the environment and the type of camera. For best results, it is recommended to scan at a distance of 1 to 5 meters.

Do I need to turn off my lights to scan?
You don't have to, but a dark environment can help you see reflections faster. However, the device still works perfectly well in well-lit rooms.

Does it also work for hidden microphones or only cameras?
This detector is designed to detect camera lenses. For microphones or transmitters, you will need a different type of RF detector.

How do I know for sure that a camera is present?
If the device shows a reflection or a bright spot of light in a specific place, that is a strong indication of a camera lens. You can then get closer to confirm it.

Is it legal to use this device?
Yes, it is 100% legal. You are always allowed to check for hidden cameras in your own home, hotel room, holiday home, or rental property.
